The open plan, beautifully furnished lounge/diner is equipped with a FLATSCREEN SMART TV - FREE WIFI for holiday lets is available (subject to availability from Internet service Provider). The modern kitchen area includes an INDUCTION HOB - ELECTRIC OVEN - WASHER/DRYER - FRIDGE/FREEZER. There is a modern bathroom with a bath, shower facility and a toilet. LOCAL AREA

Southbourne is located on the coast to the eastern side of Bournemouth and is within easy reach of the historic town of Christchurch. The area has miles of beautiful sandy beaches, a lifeguard station and a wide range of leisure activities including a surf school at Boscombe and the Hengistbury Head Visitor Centre. The beach is accessed from either the Gordon zigzag path or the Fishermans Walk slope where you will also find a funicular Victorian cliff lift. At Fishermans Walk there is also a childrens playground, crazy golf and the popular Cafe Riva serving food and beverages located on the clifftop. Bournemouth pier is approximately a 45 minute pleasant stroll from the apartment or Boscombe Pier is approximately a 20 minute stroll along the promenade. Southbourne Grove with its bustling hub of cafes, bars, restaurants and a wide selection of shops is only a 10-15 minute walk from the property. Wick Village is a short drive away with Riverside walks and boating activities, a public slipway and 3-par golf course and driving range. There you will find Tuckton Tea Gardens and ferries that take you to Christchurch Quay. Just nearby is also Hengistbury Head Nature Reserve where you can take the land train for easy access to Mudeford sand spit. Christchurch town centre is only a short drive away offering historic attractions, restaurants, a theatre and many other facilities. Bournemouth and Boscombe centres are also only a short drive for those visitors wishing to be involved in the more hustle and bustle of this traditional seaside town.

Beautiful apartment in a great location. The four of us spent 2 weeks in this holiday apartment. Everything was as described. The rental agency was immediately available by phone and helped us very well. The beach, shops and restaurants are all within walking distance. There is also a bus stop nearby, so we could simply leave the car behind for trips to the center of Bournemouth or to Boscombe Pier. We can recommend the holiday apartment without reservation.

Although the weather wasn’t on our side, we had a lovely stay. The apartment was really lovely. It was super clean and tidy and pretty easy to work out. We would definitely stay there again. The only negatives were that there were no usb/ usc charging points. Also the blinds are a pain as we’re constantly coming away from fixings. The minute there so much as a gust of wind, it would put pressure in them as they are exposed with the open windows. They also don’t go totally to the top of the window so don’t really block out much light and the windows need curtains/ blackout ideally to combat this. Oh and the tv is in the wrong wall. The picture is obscured by the light reflecting from the windows. ( we sadly had rainy days otherwise probably wouldn’t have noticed. The faults were so minor though. It really was lovely accommodation and facilities . That said, we did love the contemporary look of apartment and the location was superb. Also thank you bournecoast, We have been equally happy with your customer service and would definitely use you again, should we visit Bournemouth in the future.

5* We had a lovely stay at this apartment in Southbourne. Just minutes to walk to the beach and there is also a lovely little cafe, kids playground and crazy golf all within close walking distance. It was lovely to walk around the local area as well as a great base to visit places in the car. We drove to Mudeford, Poole, Bournemouth, Boscombe (also walking distance), Swanage and also went to see the wild horses in the New Forest. The apartment was very clean and comfortable and we had everything we needed. Would definitely recommend a restaurant called Sobo Fish if you like fish and seafood which is in walking distance. The menu changes every day depending on what has been caught fresh that day! It is then cooked to perfection! All in all a lovely stay!

5* Had a great stay! The flat is located in a secure and modern building, a few steps from the cliff top, few minutes walk to Southbourne main road, and close to bus stops. The space was very functional and we had everything we needed. It’s super quiet and we fell asleep to the sound of waves every night. Some minor hiccups at check in and check out but hosts were responsive and helpful. Will keep this address for future visits!
