BEDROOMS - The master bedroom is a Double Bedroom. The second bedroom is a Twin Bedroom with two singles that can be clipped together to make a 6ft bed. The third bedroom has a single day bed which pulls out to make a double bed. The house has a spacious lounge with a feature fireplace and includes a FLATSCREEN SMART TV - FREEVIEW - FREE WIFI (subject to availability from Internet Service Provider). The kitchen has an ELECTRIC COOKER - SLIMLINE DISHWASHER and a pantry with a FRIDGE - MICROWAVE. There are two cupboards off the kitchen, one which houses the WASHING MACHINE and the other houses the FREEZER. The property has the advantage of a separate dining room which has a sideboard unit with an ELECTRIC HOB and a French door to the garden. The bathroom has a bath and a toilet. There is also a separate wet room with a shower (this room has no basin or toilet). This accommodation has a spacious garden with a patio and lawn area with outdoor table and chairs. There is also a shed available for bike storage. In the drive there is off road parking for one small car and one large car. Linen & towels included for holiday lets are provided by the owner. LOCAL AREA

Close by is the Littledown sports complex with it's public sporting facilities, swimming pool, parkland and lake. The Golf Driving Range is also close by where there is an excellent golf course which provides a challenge for players of varied abilities. Both courses run alongside and provide spectacular views of the River Stour. In the local area you will also find the very popular Kings Park and recreation area and Swanmore Lawn Tennis Courts that are open all year round. A short drive away will give you access to Southbourne's Blue Flag sandy beaches, from which it is possible to reach the beaches at Boscombe and Bournemouth. Bournemouth and Christchurch town centres are also within easy reach for the many tourist attractions.

are preferred FRI to MON or MON to FRI (please note that Short Breaks are only accepted in the school summer holidays as last minute bookings where they are booked within one week of the arrival date). WEEKLY LETS
can start on MONDAY, FRIDAY or SATURDAY outside of the school summer holidays but should only start on SATURDAY within the school summer holidays.

5/5 - Holiday with grandchildren - Lovely old house with safely enclosed garden. Character kitchen a little difficult to work in. Could do with a bit more cutlery but otherwise we’ll stocked. Collection of cooking staples - oil,vinegar etc Very handy.

Recommend staying here, really close to bournemouth and christchurch centre, ideal location to commute between the two. Very close to all beaches. Brilliant home to stay in for our holiday, really enjoyed it!

This is a lovely property in Southbourne which is well maintained and very well equipped. It is quite spacious, apart from the kitchen which is on the small side, but it was fine for a holiday. There was free WiFi which was adequate for all of us. Be aware that parking is tight, if you have a large car, or in fact 2 cars. There is room on the drive for one car, and for one on the road. At the time of our stay, we struggled with the comfort (or lack of) of the mattresses on the twin beds, and also the inadequate window coverings in the early mornings. We have fed this back to the agent & owner so hopefully these will be rectified. The location of the house is perfect for exploring Bournemouth, Christchurch & Poole and further afield, and Southbourne beach is less than a 10 minute drive away. We also visited Christchurch, including the Quay & the Priory, Tuckton tea gardens, where we got a boat to Mudeford Sands, which was beautiful, and Hengistbury Head (nature reserve & visitors centre). My husband & father played golf at a local course and there was many to choose from. We really enjoyed our time on the South coast and we will be back.
