Reviews & comments

A spacious apartment in a large property in a leafy and high value area of Bournemouth. Feels like a very grand location in a town full of average and pricey hotel options (typical of British seasides with restricted tourist seasons). Lots of period features albeit some of the fixtures and fittings could use a bit of a refresh. You need to provide some items yourself (hand soap, washing up liquid, dishwasher tabs) but that wasn't a major concern for us. No issues at the price paid which was very reasonable for the level of accommodation provided. We had a lovely holiday here. Well appointed kitchen, main bedroom and lounge area. Second bedroom has two singles which are serviceable if not as comfortable as the main bedroom. The location is great for a short 10 minute drive to Boscombe or Bournemouth beach/town centre. Feels very safe with private parking at the rear along a private drive. A lovely high street within 5 minutes walk (Winton) with some very good restaurants and a Waitrose/Boots etc. Wasn't immaculately clean when we arrived (a few cob webs in corners etc.) but nothing terrible. If some of the minor fixtures were updated we could see this being charged out for 40-50% more than we paid so it is a bit of a bargain at the moment. Didn't meet the owner but no issues whatsoever with communication, check in or departure via the managing agent. Overall a lovely and somewhat grand stay which would be perfect for families or those with children who want a bit of a bargain.
