BEDROOMS - This apartment has two Double Bedrooms, the Master Bedroom has a King Size Bed with an ensuite shower room and toilet. This bedroom has a tilt and slide patio door which leads straight onto the garden. The second bedroom has Twin Beds (which are zip and link beds that can be zipped together to make a Super King bed), this room also benefits from a tilt and slide patio door which leads straight onto the garden. Please note if you need the Twin Beds configured as a Super King Bed you will need to contact the Landlord at least 72 hours in advance of your arrival date. There is a modern open plan lounge/kitchen/diner, in the lounge area there is a FLATSCREEN SMART TV. FREE WIFI is available for holiday lets (subject to availability from Internet Service Provider). The lounge area also benefits from a tilt and slide patio door which leads onto the spacious garden. The modern kitchen area is equipped with a GAS HOB - ELECTRIC OVEN - WASHING MACHINE - DISHWASHER - FRIDGE/FREEZER. There is a modern bathroom which has a bath with a shower facility and a toilet. The large garden has private access (including a private side entrance) and is approximately 40ft x 34ft with a decking area that runs across the back of the house. Past the decking is the lawn area and there is also a bike shed available. The accommodation comes with one allocated off road parking space. ADDITIONAL NOTES - This apartment boasts underfloor heating throughout. Guests also have the additional benefit of the use of a BEACH HUT on a Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday DAYTIME each week (available between Easter and September for holiday letting reservations only). The beach hut is located at Portman Ravine, approx. a 20 min walk from the apartment, Linen & towels included for holiday lets are provided by the owner. LOCAL AREA

Southbourne is known for being a popular seaside resort in the suburb of Bournemouth, and is situated between well-known Boscombe and Christchurch. Southbourne makes for the perfect stay, with attractions all within walking distance. It is the home to one of the many local Blue Flag award-winning beaches, the miles of safe golden sands ensuring a perfect family day out. Just up from the beach and walking distance from the apartment you will find a very popular play park for children on the cliff top, with the opportunity to stroll along to the local cafes. One tourist feature of Southbourne is the Fishermans Walk Cliff Railway (which runs between Easter and the end of October), a funicular railway between the cliff top coastal road and the promenade and beach. This provides very easy access to the local Blue Flag beach, from which it is possible to reach more sandy beaches in Boscombe and Bournemouth. The heart of Southbourne is Southbourne Grove, a vibrant shopping street lined with a unique mix of independent shops and eateries. Here you will find everything you need, from cafes and restaurants to a pharmacy, along with major supermarkets such as Tesco and Sainsburys, perfect for those who prefer to cook at home in the evenings. Don't forget to explore Fishermans Walk nature trail, a pretty walk along the cliff top situated between Fishermans Avenue and Portman Crescent in Southbourne, linking to Southbourne Grove. It is a narrow strip of wooded land with a nature trail, woodland flowers and shrubs and plenty of wildlife. A short drive away is Tuckton Tea Gardens which is a traditional cosy cafe set in beautiful gardens beside the River Stour. They even have a seasonal putting green and crazy golf course to keep the children amused. From here you can climb aboard one of the Classic ferries and take a trip down the River Stour in to Christchurch Harbour. Bournemouth and Boscombe centres are a short drive for those visitors wishing to be involved in the more hustle and bustle of a traditional seaside town. This apartment is perfect for a family getaway just a short distance from the beach.

Spacious two bed two bath ground floor flat, with garden and use of a local beach hut. Southbourne with its vibrant community of independent shops and eateries is a short walk away with the cliff top and zig zag walk to the sandy beach only 10 minutes walk. Recommended.

The apartment is fabulous and the beach hut is a great addition. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen well stocked and the TV had a great selection of channels available to view. The garden has 3 separate sitting areas and is a lovely outside space.

This is an amazing 2bed apartment, the local pub is about 100m away. The beach hut is a bonus on such a quiet beach location. And only about 10min walk to a local bakery. Amazing host with local knowledge.

The apartment was a reasonable size, it was also clean. The beach hut was a real bonus (available Sunday to Thursday) Lin's communication was good. Getting the keys was trouble free. Southbourne beach was beautiful and clean. Thank you Lin. Kind Regards. Liz

5* - Holiday home perfection. We stayed as a family here in july, the apartment was wonderfully clean on arrival with everything you would need, from ice packs for your cool box to corkscrew for the wine - definate home from home! The welcome package was a nice touch, local biscuits and bread and a cold bottle of wine in the fridge, although no air con or fans all rooms had wide opening patio doors which helped with the hot weather. Location is perfect for beach lovers, litterally a stones throw away although there is a winding path leading down to the beach which tests the legs on the way back! Lovely pub on the corner af the street, 50 yards from the apartment which does lovely food and outdoor dining which we used a few times during the week, shops are a 5/10 minute walk away, Tesco/Sainsburys etc etc. The outdoor space is great,very private and breakfast in the sun outside was a joy. Overall a fantastic place to stay and would recommend to familys / couples who are looking for a less hetic holiday, Bournmouth is a 15/20 min drive away if you want it a little more lively. The hosts were good, plenty of communiction and got back to me in good time when we had a few questions about our stay.
