A pleasant walk from the house will take you to Avon beach. If you walk along Avon Beach you will find The Noisy Lobster cafe, shop, ice cream parlour and The Fish and Chip Hut. You will also find Mudeford Quay offering the ever popular family pastime of 'crabbing' from the quayside. The Quay Head is a pedestrian zone and is a hub of activity set amongst a cluster of historic buildings thought to date from 1695 including the pub 'The Haven House Inn'. Take a five minute ferry ride from Mudeford Quay and there is the unique beach huts on Mudeford Spit. In the evening in Mudeford you can enjoy a meal in the Upper Deck Bar & Restaurant with its stunning harbour views. Next door to the Upper Deck is The Jetty, the multiple award-winning restaurant, perched on the water’s edge.
