BEDROOMS - Double Bedroom with patio doors leading to the courtyard garden (bathrobes are available for use by guests during your stay). Please note the bedroom is separated from the lounge area by a decorative room divider which does not give full privacy. There is a lounge with a bed settee to sleep 1 or 2 and a FLATSCREEN TV - FREEVIEW - FREE WIFI (subject to availability from Internet Service Provider) - the lounge leads through to the modern kitchen area which has a breakfast bar with dining for two and a TWO RING HOB - MICROWAVE COMBINATION OVEN - SLIMLINE DISHWASHER - FRIDGE. This property also has the benefit of a welcome pack which includes tea, coffee, milk and sugar. The accommodation has a modern shower room and toilet with complimentary shampoo, body wash and vanity kit. This annex has an enclosed courtyard garden with table and chairs. There is parking on the drive for one car (marked with the letter H). Linen & towels included for holiday lets are provided by the owner. The owner also provides an ironing board, iron, hairdryer, shoe horn/polish kit, sewing kit, first aid box and a resonably priced in-house laundry service.

LOCAL AREA

Christchurch Quay, a short drive away, offers access through to the riverside walks, park, cafe, Boathouse Restaurant, bandstand, children's play area and an exciting water play park and paddling pool which has many interactive features including water jets and sprays, a water play pump and wheel, channels and sluices as well as a paddling pool. On the Quay you can also take the opportunity to take the Ferry which runs regularly to Wick, Mudeford Sandbank and Hengistbury Head during the summer months (weather permitting). With countless quaint attractions, Christchurch has a busy high-street which offers a wide range of amenities to suit all of your needs. From shops, convenience stores, supermarkets and a weekly market you will find all the necessities virtually on your doorstop. In addition, Christchurch offers an excellent choice of cafes, bars and restaurants, including a Michellin Star restaurant in Mudeford, to make for the perfect evening. Christchurch Priory is a beautiful church, which is a popular attraction with both visitors and locals in the area. As the original construction of the building began in 1094 by Ranulf Flambard, a minister for King William Rufus II, and continued over several centuries until 1529, this is a great spot for anyone interested in the local history. Other attractions include The Red House Museum and Garden, a Museum which offers exhibitions of arts and crafts, history and photography. Within the gardens, visitors can enjoy refreshments whilst exploring the site. It is a short drive to the surrounding sandy beaches at Southbourne Beach and you will also find Southbourne Grove where you can find local shops, cafes, bars and restaurants. Close by to the property is St Catherine's Hill which is a 35 hectare area of heathland and coniferous forest. The area is popular for mountain biking, walking, hiking and has large number of important wildlife species. The River Stour runs at the back of the property and is about 64 miles long. The Stour Valley Way now covers almost all of the river, with a few gaps and discontinuities which should do little to deter anyone who wants to explore the river. Bournemouth town centre is also only a car ride away for high street stores, tourist attractions and lots more entertainment. Nearby you will also find the vast New Forest. Catering for the perfect countryside holiday, The New Forest offers a truly unique experience. The New Forest is a genuine walker’s paradise with many circular and linear routes. With many picnic sites with toilet facilities, which are sited to allow visitors safe and easy access to a variety of forest landscapes, take a guided walk where local experts will tell you about the history, geology and wildlife beneath your feet. For those who fancy exploring via bicycle, New Forest offers miles of traffic free off-road tracks leading you into the heart of the forest.

WEEKLY LETS
can start on MONDAY, FRIDAY or SATURDAY outside of the school summer holidays but should only start on SATURDAY within the school summer holidays.

5/5 - Early Autumn Escape. Well appointed very clean best suited for two people due to size , a little out of town, however this should not be a problem. On the edge of a river plenty of walks ,easy acces to new forest and jurassic coast . Lovely hosts a very nice holiday.

Me and my girlfriend had a lovely stay! The area is really nice, there’s much too see and do in both Christchurch and the surrounding areas. We rented two kayaks from the hosts which showed us a detailed route to take, and directed us there. It is very much private, you’re not disturbed at all. The hosts were lovely, and didn’t mind us asking questions.

Maria and James were excellent hosts. The annex is beautiful and although close to the main house we still felt we had peace and privacy. They were so attentive and helpful, giving us local tips and really added to our wonderful holiday experience. Beautiful location, lovely and quiet and relaxing. Didn’t want to leave! Thankyou so much, we will definitely be back! 5* in every way and highly recommend.
