LOCAL AREA
Located between Boscombe and Christchurch, Southbourne-On-Sea is a popular resort for those who want a slightly quieter experience than holidaying in Bournemouth town centre. Although an integral part of Bournemouth, Southbourne’s intimate vibe allows its tourists to do as they wish, whether its exploring the history, dining out in its best eateries, or simply relaxing along the seafront. As the most easterly part of the borough, the suburb of Southbourne’s charm is the infamous cliff tops, which harbour fabulous views sweeping from the isle of Wight across Poole Bay, to the isle of Purbeck. Within walking distance of the property is the popular high street of Southbourne Grove which has a choice of bistro's cafes and restaurants, local deli's and fishmongers along with high street brand coffee shops, banks and a post office. This holiday property is near the cliff top at Fisherman's Walk with its blue flag sandy beaches and wide range of leisure activities. At the end of the road the Funicular Victorian cliff lift can take you to the sandy shores below. Café Riva is a cliff top café serving food and beverages where you can sit and relax and enjoy the views. The picturesque town of Christchurch is a short drive away. There are beautiful walks along Town Quay - the superbly restored 900 year old Place Mill is open to visitors, the very many swans and the river boat traffic add to the atmosphere here. Delightful riverside walks lead on to Stanpit Marsh, an area of special interest for wildlife lovers, and Christchurch Harbour which is an important spot for migrating birds.

are preferred FRI to MON or MON to FRI (please note that Short Breaks are only accepted in the school summer holidays as last minute bookings where they are booked within one week of the arrival date). If you require a Short Break starting on an alternative day please contact a member of the Bournecoast team to discuss your requirements.

WEEKLY LETS
can start on MONDAY, FRIDAY or SATURDAY outside of the school summer holidays but should only start on SATURDAY within the school summer holidays.

Good value for money and excellent location with shops at one end of the road and the beach at the other. Very quiet neighbourhood and the parking space was a real bonus as Bournemouth is a nightmare to park. Flat was small but perfectly fine for three people.

This is an attractively laid out and comfortable space, ideally located for local shops and pubs and the seafront. We will certainly consider returning here.

Perfect for our stay! The apartment is very cosy and had everything we needed! Really good location in a nice area, near the beach and local amenities.
