Westbourne is a popular holiday location situated between Bournemouth and Poole and is an elegant district of Bournemouth located on the way to Poole and known affectionately as 'The Village'. Westbourne has become a fashionable and popular part of Bournemouth with a unique mix of clothing shops, cafes, restaurants and many other independent businesses. A short distance away is Alum Chine which is an integral suburb of Bournemouth. With its beauty beginning at its shoreline, this picturesque part of the coast boasts miles of safe, high-quality beaches, perfect for children of all ages. Alum Chine beach also has a pirate-themed large adventure playground, toilets with baby changing facilities, RNLI lifeguard stations, pubs and ice cream kiosks. From Alum Chine beach you can take a peaceful stroll through the exotic woodlands which takes you back to Westbourne Village. Approximately a 15 minute walk from the property brings you to Bournemouth centre itself which offers high street shops, theatres, an Odeon cinema and restaurant complex 'BH2', restaurants, bars and entertainment for the whole family. The walk along the Promenade underneath the cliffs or along the beach to Bournemouth Pier is always a popular choice. An alternative walk is along the clifftop taking in the magnificent vista across Poole Bay. The land train runs seasonally along the Promenade, from close by the bus terminus at the foot of the Chine, to Bournemouth Pier and to Boscombe Pier beyond.

5/5 - Perfect stay with family and friends. Good location, near the beach and city. Very clean, beds are soft, a lot of pillows. Only to remark, not enough kitchen utensils for cooking, and we missed a coffee machine.
