The property is situated on a residential road in Southbourne, just a short walk to the coast, offering miles of sandy beaches. Tuckton, also just a short walk away, offers a variety of restaurants, takeaways and convenience stores. The Riverside Restaurant, with its picturesque views over the River Stour, is a great spot for dining. Next to Tuckton is Wick and Tuckton Tea Gardens, which offer crazy golf, a play park for children, a tea room and riverboat hire. Ferries run regularly from here to Christchurch Quay, where you can enjoy a riverside park, a cafe, the Boathouse Restaurant, a bandstand and an exciting water play park with interactive features, jets, sprays and a paddling pool. From the Quay, the Vintage Ferry operates during the summer months (weather permitting), providing trips to Wick, Mudeford Sandbank and Hengistbury Head. Hengistbury Head nature reserve, within walking distance, offers a range of outdoor activities, including scenic walks and cycling. The famous Noddy Train provides easy access to Mudeford Beach. The property is also within easy reach of Bournemouth town centre, which provide extensive shopping, dining and entertainment options, along with traditional seaside attractions.

The location was great, very near the beach and a supermarket 5 minute walk. Christchurch was also very closeby for further shopping. The accommodation had all you needed, appreciated the milk and tea surplied. The hosts were very welcoming. Overall a very pleasant stay.

5-star review - This experience was unforgettable. First gate away with our newborn. The area is a corner of paradise. Very family friendly and nature oriented. The agent really good with communication and fast response. The owners were very friendly and always helpful. Hope to be back “permanently “

5-star review - We had a lovely stay here. The place was clean and tidy with everything you need for a break. The beach and shops are within a 10 minute walk which was nice and the location was quiet and nice too. We stayed for 4 nights but could easily have stayed for much longer! My only point would be to the agents would be to make sure the vacuum cleaner is charged or leave the charger or even a dustpan and brush because I would have liked to have been able to sweep up. That’s just my thought and didn’t spoil my time there and would definitely book again

OVERALL: 10/10 (Staff: 10 / Cleanliness: 10 / Location: 10 / Facilities: 10 / Comfort: 10 / Value for money: 10) - Brilliant Stay in Southbourne - so close to the beach!! Amazing property to stay at. So close walking distance to the beach and an array of different shops, cafes and restaurants for the tastiest breakfasts and dinners. Quick drive away to Bournemouth, Poole and Christchurch. Close to the bus stops too. We took the bus into Bournemouth and thoroughly enjoyed it. Property was so clean and has everything you need. Brilliant shower too. This is an annex of a property and the main owners of the house were so lovely. Suggested Improvements: Only thing is seems property is South facing so bedroom can get quite hot and cannot open the bigger windows. Property does have fan but it is not powerful enough so was quite hot in property.
