LOCAL AREA

Southbourne is located on the coast to the eastern side of Bournemouth and is within easy reach of the historic town of Christchurch. The beach is accessed from the Gordon zigzag path and further along the cliff top you can find a funicular Victorian cliff lift. There is also a playground for children, crazy golf and the popular Cafe Riva serving food and beverages located on the clifftop just a short walk away from the property. A few minutes walk from the property will also take you to the Spyglass and Kettle which is a great local pub. Bournemouth pier is approximately a 45 minute pleasant stroll from the apartment or Boscombe Pier is approximately a 20 minute stroll along the promenade. Southbourne Grove with its bustling hub of cafes, bars, restaurants and a wide selection of shops is only a 10-15 minute walk from the property. Wick Village is a short drive away with Riverside walks and boating activities, a public slipway and 3-par golf course and driving range. There you will find Tuckton Tea Gardens and ferries that will take you to Christchurch Quay. Just nearby is Hengistbury Head Nature Reserve where you can take the land train for easy access to Mudeford Sand spit. Christchurch town centre is only a short drive away offering historic attractions, restaurants, a theatre and many other facilities. Bournemouth and Boscombe centres are a short drive for those visitors wishing to be involved in the more hustle and bustle of a traditional seaside town.

Spacious apartment, well equipped. Nice to have the outdoor space for the dog. Great to have a parking spot just outside. Suggested Improvements: Poor wi-fi, the signal didn't reach the bedrooms. Only one tv, which was small and not great. Bathrooms looked a bit tired. Did not provide any bin bags for any of the bins.

OVERALL: 9/10 (Staff: 10 / Cleanliness: 10 / Location: 10 / Facilities: 10 / Comfort: 10 / Value for money: 10) - Had a great stay everything went well from start to finish thanks. The property was clean and comfortable very modern and in a very quiet area there is lots to do in the area, check in went smooth we were working in the area and the property was just what we needed after a long days graft. If working in the area again would definitely book again. Suggested Improvements: No complaints from me.

We had a great time at this nice house, ground floor appartment. It was easy to find and was very well equipped, nothing we missed. Easy access to the beach perfect parking. The two first floor appartments had beach view, quiet house but cars passing infront. I would recommend to stay here - 10 min walk to shops and nice restaurants to choose from a bit more than an hour to walk to Bournemouth along the coast. Bus stop next to house. All perfect

9/10 (Cleanliness: 10 / Location: 10 / Facilities: 10 / Comfort: 10 / Value for money: 10) - Very enjoyable, definitely need a car to get around. Lovely area with the sea across the road. Lovely & spacious, very clean & comfortable. Everything was really nice. A couple of small things, sofas are very low which made it difficult to get up. Kettle really needs descaling and there was no tea strainer. Bedroom mats were a bit slippery on the floor but we overall, we loved the apartment.
