LOCAL AREA

Wick Village is on the southern bank of the River Stour just before it enters Christchurch Harbour. Round the corner from the property you will find the Wick River and many attractions including crazy golf, children's play park, tea room, hire boats and a ferry that leads down to Christchurch Quay and Mudeford Beach. If you catch the ferry to Christchurch Quay you will find access through to the riverside walks, park, cafe, Boathouse Restaurant, bandstand, children's play area and an exciting water play park and paddling pool which has many interactive features including water jets and sprays, a water play pump and wheel, channels and sluices as well as a paddling pool. The property is walking distance to Hengistbury Head which is a natural scenic area of Headland between Bournemouth and Christchurch. A scenic land train (known as the Noddy train) makes regular journeys from the cafe to Mudeford spit.
