OVERALL: 8/10 (Staff: 10 / Cleanliness: 7.5 / Location: 10 / Facilities: 10 / Comfort: 10 / Value for money: 7.5) - Overall we had a good stay. You could find everything you needed in the apartment. The location was nice. Everything was super clean and it felt like we were at home away from home. Additional feedback: The bedroom on top floor is difficult to access and has squeaky floorboards.

8/10 - Good location for surf life saving competition which we were attending. Easy walk down to beach. Well equipped kitchen. Suggested Improvements: Mattress noisy in upstairs bedroom. 2 single beds in one room would have been better for our family configuration - grandparents, one parent and 2 children.

I guess it is a flat with a cottage feel. The upstairs is a little steep on the stairs as described in the write up.
Herbert cottage is well equipped, and light in feel.
This property is in a fabulous location approximately 12-15 mins to Alum Chine beach. The shops are 10 mins in the opposite direction.
Handy for loading / unloading car, as the parking is outside the kitchen window.
Definitely worth a stay, all bedrooms are double and generous.
One of the bedrooms has a patio door leading to an outside patio area.
Really enjoyed our stay there.

8/10 - The cottage was lovely, nicely furnished, clean, and tidy. The location was good for where we wanted to go, and the walk down to Alum Chime beach was 18-20 mins. A very pleasant stay.
