LOCAL AREA
This area is called Boscombe which is located between central Bournemouth and Christchurch, whilst being an important and busy part of Bournemouth and has a variety of amenities to suit most purposes. Boscombe is a busy seaside resort with an abundance of shopping and night time activity of its own. Boscombe is close enough to central Bournemouth for you take full advantage of both places, whether you walk, take a bus or taxi. Bournemouth is famous for its Chines and Boscombe has its very own, known as Boscombe Chine, which is a verdant delight of woodland walks where you may watch out for squirrels, and with a round of crazy golf thrown in for good measure. Boscombe Pier is an enroute stop for the summertime open top buses running between Hengistbury Head, Bournemouth and Alum Chine. The seasonal land train also runs along the Promenade underneath the cliffs to Bournemouth and beyond - you may stroll all the way if you wish. There are mainline railway stations at Pokesdown and Bournemouth. The sea off Boscombe beach is perfect for early morning swimming, surf lessons and body boarding. There are plenty of watersports to choose from in Bournemouth and neighbouring Poole - even if you're a beginner.

Reviews & comments

5-star review - Thank you very much for hospitality. Very tidy and warm house.

We had a lovely short stay in this family home which was very well provided for, clean and very homely. we chose this property as it allowed more space than others and had onside parking, though it was a bit of a squeeze getting a larger car on and off the driveway due to the narrow street, but I wouldn't let that put anyone off as this is a very comfortable house with everything you need for a great family holiday. Perfect walking distance for the town and supermarkets only 10 minutes walk and 20 minutes walk down to the seafront. Would definitely rebook.

We enjoyed our stay at Boscombe Grove Road. The kitchen is well equipped and we found it clean and tidy. The beds were all comfortable and we slept well. The heating worked keeping us comfortable in the couple of cooler days while we were there.
