Situated between Southbourne’s famous sandy beaches and within a 5 minute walk of the pretty River Stour with its delightful riverside walks, boating activities and tea gardens, Lavender Lodge is a real find for those looking for an individual, less commercialised holiday experience. Lavender Lodge has a bike store so visitors can explore the nearby area, which includes historic Christchurch, the New Forest National Park and coast using only pedal power.
Easy, level walking distance to local shops at Tuckton including one of the best butchers in the area, Tescos, pharmacy and bakery, pubs, choice of restaurants and take-aways. From outside the bus takes you direct into Boscombe, central Bournemouth, and through into Poole.
Nearby, are the Blue Flag Beaches of Southbourne, cliff top walks and lively, slightly unconventional shopping parade, known as Southbourne Grove. If you like individual shops, you will love it here. Childrens' play areas, tennis and bowls are found at nearby Seafield Gardens, whilst in the other direction, Iford Playing Fields are the home of the Bournemouth BMX Club, more wide open spaces, riverside walks and even more tennis!
Southbourne and Tuckton with their own character and attributes are also popular for being only a step away from the nightlife, shops and entertainment of mainstream Bournemouth.

Lovely bungalow and excellent for the 3 of us! So close to everything, we used to live 15 minutes away so it was great. Communication was superb and everything as described.

Thanks for letting us stay in your lovely bungalow. We have found it very comfortable and well equipped. The hooks on the bathroom door appear to work well and it is a welcome addition to the bathroom!
