Reviews & comments

10/10 - Lovely large house, very well equipped and spotlessly clean. Very close to beach, even older of our group walked down (and used the cliff lift when available). Great view of the Bournemouth pier summer fireworks from the cliff was a bonus as well. Highly recommended.

This is a really lovely house in a very pleasant residential area, conveniently located only a 5-10 minute walk from the beach and about 10 minutes’ walk from a busy high street with Sainsburys Loal, Tesco Express, Co-op, Boots, etc. It has clearly been refurbished recently, and everything is fresh and modern. It feels like somebody’s home rather than a holiday rental. The kitchen/diner is very spacious and attractive, and all the appliances work well. The rooms are large and nicely furnished, the entrance hall, staircase and landing are spacious, and thick carpets and solid walls make the house quiet and peaceful. The children’s toys and books in the bedroom with bunks were very much appreciated by the youngest members of our family group. The extensive patio with large table, sun umbrella and ample chairs was ideal for relaxing on hot days and warm summer evenings, and the children enjoyed playing on the lawned areas. The garden is secure, although care needs to be taken with small toddlers as there are a few steps. In the daytime the surrounding streets were fairly parked up at the weekend when the weather was hot (mid-July), but as day trippers went home plenty of free spaces appeared in the evenings. On weekdays there was ample space to park multiple cars directly outside the house. With careful parking, we actually managed to fit our 3 cars on the drive, but it more comfortably fits 2 cars as advertised. The house is generally very well-equipped, although I would have appreciated some oven gloves and an extra-large pan to help cook for a big group. We really loved the house and everything about it, it was one of the nicest houses we have stayed in, and we would very happily stay there again. The booking process with Bournecoast was smooth and efficient.

5/5 - This is a lovely charming house. The cleaner, Mirabella, does a great job. The house has a secluded garden and is wonderfully close to the cliff top and beaches.

Thank you we had a lovely stay in the property, it has such good space and is so user friendly with everything for a family holiday, the garden was ideal too and the children enjoyed spending time there and of course the closeness to the beach. The local shops are great too and being a very short drive to the main town is good, although we had everything so close we needed. This is the fourth time we have stayed in the Bournemouth area each time different properties, this is a very good place and would consider it in future for a family holiday.
