Southbourne is a picturesque coastal area located to the east of Bournemouth and is conveniently close to the historic town of Christchurch. This area boasts stunning blue flag sandy beaches and a plethora of leisure activities. By taking a short walk along the clifftop, you will reach the Funicular Victorian cliff lift which will take you down to the sandy shores below. Cafe Riva, a cliff top cafe, serves a variety of food and beverages. Wick Village is a short drive away, and offers riverside walks, boating activities, a public slipway, and a 3-par golf course with a driving range. There, visitors can also find Tuckton Tea Gardens and ferries that take them to Christchurch Quay. The nearby Hengistbury Head Nature Reserve is also worth exploring, with easy access via a land train to Mudeford Sand spit. 8/10 - Very pleasant stay in a residential area, very close to the beach and the city centre. Neighbourhood near the sea and shops. Calm in the residence. Apartment very bright and well equipped. Very comfortable bedding. The allocated parking space at the apartment. Feedback: Room furniture quite large which prevents easy traffic - the extractor fan filter needs to be changed - it would be nice to add hand soap in the bathroom.

5 Star Review - Very good location for us as we relied on public transport and taxi service . There is a beautiful beach within 10 mins walking distance and lift for ease of beach access. Buses to central Bournemouth/Boscombe/Swanage to the west and beautiful Christchurch to the east were readily accessible. Southbourne Grove with its lively restaurants, bars and shops was so easy to walk to. We really enjoyed our stay and would love to come back ! The apartment was small but had everything we needed, a lovely bathroom and comfortable bed. Very good value for money.
